ARCAM is the architecture centre of Amsterdam and not only an information centre but also the starting point of a discovery route through Amsterdam for everyone interested in architecture. This building with its round shapes was designed by René van Zuuk and has a beautiful view of the Oostdok.

The zinc plating used on the outer wall has been under our supervision since 2003. Zinc is easy to protect with APP S Clear, using an adhesive primer. The coating is invisible and graffiti can be removed easily with warm water only, without damaging the façade. It is also important that the graffiti paint comes off in a solid form, so that no dirt gets into the substrate or the water. We sweep up these flakes and remove them. Where graffiti has been removed, we apply a new protective layer. In this way, the ARCAM building is permanently protected without the use of environmentally harmful products, as it should be!
